“Sleeping Beauty” tells the story of Princess Aurora, blessed with every virtue imaginable thanks to the kindness of her godmothers—the good fairies—but whom the wicked fairy Carabosse condemns to an eternal sleep on her sixteenth birthday.

Tchaikovsky’s score, with its passion and flamboyance, provides a superb backdrop for the splendor of the choreography, the ensemble pieces, the numerous variations, and the character dances… Sleeping Beauty represents the pinnacle of classical ballet, as dance establishes itself as a major art form.

It is a show for the whole family—a touching and marvelous symphony of dance.
