Our Commitments

QUALITY IN TOURISM

In 2002, the Thionville Tourist Information Centre implemented a quality management system to ensure that clients, partners and other recipients of its information are completely satisfied with its services.

Bearing in mind the overall importance of quality management strategies for the tourism industry, Thionville and its Tourist Information Centre show a strong commitment to quality of service and customer satisfaction.

These are our main customer service commitments:

• We offer our visitors a comprehensive and personalised service.
• We will answer enquiries within a maximum of 48 hours and endeavour to resolve your query as quickly as possible.
• We regularly check our documentation to ensure that the information is accurate and up-to-date.
• We use a system of quality management tools and techniques.

ACCUEIL VÉLO = CYCLISTS WELCOME

In order to offer cyclists the very best personalised welcome, Pays Thionvillois Tourisme has been committed since 2018 to the “Accueil Vélo” approach and obtained its certification on 22 January 2019.

This quality label is the guarantee for the cyclist of:

●     Being within 5 km of a cycle route
●     Having access to special equipment for cyclists: secure bicycle shelter, repair kit
●     Enjoying a warm welcome (useful information and advice: routes, weather, etc.)
●     Benefitting from services designed for cyclists.

ENVIRONMENT

OUR DAILY COMMITMENTS

●     All our computers are equipped with sleep mode and are turned off every evening when we leave the Office. They have to sleep too!
●     We turn off the lights as soon as we leave a room.
●     We sort our waste. If you don’t know how to do it, we share our waste sorting guide with you.
●     Have you ever heard about digital pollution? We make sure that we regularly empty our mailboxes so as not to clutter them.
●     Our printing is automatically programmed to be in black and white and on both sides with the help of Super Bernard (that’s right, at Pays Thionvillois Tourisme even the printers have a nickname!)
●     We recycle our ink cartridges and use scrap paper for our notes.
●     We dematerialize all our internal media: meeting reports, planning, liaison book, etc.
●     For our business trips, we always favour car-sharing. The journey is always more fun together.
●     The labels obtained by our partners are indicated on all our communication media and we are proud of them.
●     Your letters are sent with green stamps which have less of an impact on the environment.
●     We choose eco-label printers (FSC, My climate, etc.) to print our brochures and documents.
●     Some documents, such as monthly diaries and seasonal visit programs are printed only on demand.
●     We opt for local products in our shop. By the way, have you ever visited our “Schluck & Speck” trailer or the Boutique en Platt?
