"Musas" is a concert-performance that blends elements of the recital, performance art, and the visual arts. Alone on stage, Hélène Escriva displays a sensitive mastery of breath, voice, and body, in which her instruments—the euphonium and bass trumpet—become true narrative vehicles. At her side, set designer Félix Rigollot acts as a discreet collaborator. The program, ranging from Baroque to contemporary and electroacoustic works, freely accompanies female figures—mythological, pictorial, marginalized, or anonymous—who pass by like so many lingering presences. Conceived as a palimpsest, the set design reinvents itself throughout the performance, allowing layers of images and light to emerge in a continuous dialogue with the sound. *musas* sketches out a free and immersive form, where points of reference waver and the act of listening is reinvented.
