Il Circolo invites you to discover the real pizza al taglio (or pizza in teglia) alla romana.
The concept was born in Rome in the 50s, when bakers came up with the idea of producing large oven-baked pizza slabs and cutting them into rectangular slices. Romans adopted it in no time, and it's now institutional to eat a slice of pizza (savoury or sweet), by hand of course, in a breeze on the street, or more comfortably seated in your favourite restaurant (where we live!!)...a tutte le ore della giornata!!! YES...you've got it right...there's no time like the present to enjoy a pizza al taglio...settle into a temporal rift... and let yourself be transported to the heart of the eternal city.
