The giant of the Maginot Line fortifications has 10 km of galleries and 17 combat blocks covering an area of 1.6 km². Visits are possible 7 days a week, all year round, in the morning and in the afternoon by reservation.
You will discover the period installations presented in working order, from the power station to the artillery turret, including the ammunition shop, the barracks with its kitchens and its infirmary, all reconstructed identically. The long journeys through the fort can be done on a guided tour with a small period electric train. A signposted walking circuit allows you to discover the whole site outside.
The temperature is 12 degrees, so bring warm clothing.
