  • This neo-Gothic funeral chapel in the heart of Hayange, listed as a Monument Historique since September 25, 1980, once stood at the center of the cemetery and housed the bodies of the de Wendel family. Built in the neo-Gothic style, the building is laid out in a 6 m square on two levels: the crypt, covered by a low cross vault, is preceded by a vaulted porch that extends under the staircase; above, the chapel is accessed via a double stone ramp, accompanied by a balustrade restored in 1993....

The yellow stone used to build this edifice is local limestone, probably from the Neufchef quarries.
