CHURCH OF VEYMERANGE

in Thionville
  • Taking advantage of the discreet heights of the village of Veymerange, the church dominates. Its steeple rises to the top, while its facades soar in simplicity. Home to nuns in the Middle Ages, Veymerange's church soon found itself too small to accommodate the growing congregation. It was enlarged in the 19th century. Sobriety also defines the building's interior, with stained glass windows dating from 1913 and ogives depicting the attributes of Saint Peter.
