  • And oh! and oh! we're back from the mine!
    The headframe stands before us on the mine floor. It's the centerpiece and vestige of this mining operation. As we enter the buildings, the smell and noise of the machinery mingle with our visit. Enthusiasts show us how the machines work. We take our place at the controls of the mining machine and head for the loading dock for a descent to 200 meters. At a height of 35m, the top of the headframe offers a panoramic view of the Pays-Haut.
