Built of Neufchef limestone, the Renaissance-inspired church was designed by Metz architect René Jaquemin. For the façade, he drew inspiration from the Trinité church in Paris, the parish church of the de Wendel family.
Visitors can admire frescoes painted by Nicolas-Emilie Lefebvre between 1893 and 1895 on the triumphal arch above the choir and side altars.
