EGLISE PAROISSIALE SAINT MARTIN
in Kœnigsmacker
-
The church of Koenigsmacker is mentioned as early as 1065, but like many others, it was built on a former pagan place of worship and bears the traces of this: the head of a Gallo-Roman deity is sealed in the eastern wall.
Renovated around 1625, then rebuilt in 1740, the building that can be admired today consists of a single nave, which is known as a barn church.
