Cédric Burnside + Shake The Disease

Grammy winner and renowned blues artist Cedric Burnside recorded his latest album, "Hill Country Love", in a former law office in Tippah County, a town of 5,000 inhabitants and the birthplace of the Hill Country Blues style. The original intention was to use the building as a juke joint, built entirely of wood, and thus contributing to the album's unique sound.

Romain LAURENT aka SHAKE THE DISEASE, a master of contraband instruments (Cigare-box, Lapsteel, Dobro, Senza), summons the ghosts of delta and Anglo-Saxon folk from the plains to the horizons of electric pylons to the neon lights of cities, tirelessly dreaming of forests.
