Pierre describes his work as "a bit of a bastard art". Somewhere between naive art and folk art, his works mix techniques and materials: pyrography, collage and watercolor on pieces of wooden crates, shreds of old dictionaries, bibles and newspapers. Her world is filled with islands, voyages, land, sky and sea animals, and pirate ships floating among words. The main character in this world is a little child inside him, inside us.
